A couple of weeks ago Team Full Brazilian began downing the Blood Princes. Below is a photo of our first kill, as well as a video of a recent one-shot. Once the fight mechanics are learned, downing the bloodsuckers proves to be a very enjoyable encounter.
Additionally, tonight marked our first foray into ICC 25 as a guild, and we conquered the first wing, one-shotting every boss but Deathwhisper. Saurfang was an especially clean kill, granting us an extra achievement in the process. Great work to everyone involved!
ZeGuild has downed Festergut and Rotface! These two abominations presented a couple of very challenging fights to overcome, but with a little creative strategy and and some good old fashioned determination, we were undoing the Professor’s work in no time!
Festergut was gracious enough to drop Kilt of Untreated Wounds, which went to Knolan. Rotface, after some convincing, gave up Lockjaw, awarded to Lightjustice!
It was late, so we wrapped up the raid after these two handsome fellows were down, but we’ll be back in there on Friday evening to go our ten rounds with Professor Putricide!
I just want to take a minute to apologize for my recent absence from WoW. As a guild leader, leaving you all in the dark for about two months was pretty weak. To make a long story short, I got really busy with work and then, I kinda freaked out at the idea of coming back. It seemed like all the fun out of my DK had been sucked out and I don’t really enjoy the whole Tank/DPS stuff all that much.
I’m back in the game today and I’ll be working on my paladin from now on. Her name is Anaïs (my daughter’s name). Frankly, I really want to get back at healing. I should have done this a while ago. I suck at tanking.
I also want to take a minute to thanks our wonderful officers. Mythron, Mythra, Silentread, Revnox, Flabby and Teshimine, thank you for taking care of the guild while I was away. I sincerely appreciate it. It was easier to be AFK knowing the guild was in such good hands.
Tonight ZeGuild ventured back into Icecrown Citadel to continue our raid lockout from Thursday, and to go toe to toe with Deathbringer Saurfang, the Lich King’s most powerful Death Knight. I think that all of the ZeGuildies in attendance will agree with me when I say that Saurfang was one of the most challenging boss fights we’ve faced yet.
It took 13 wipes and 14 attempts to hone our strategy to perfection, but in the end not only did we vanquish Arthas’ prized soldier, but earned an extra achievement in the process!
A huge congratulations to everyone involved, both in the Saurfang fight, and the fights leading up to it!
Tonight ZeGuild went into ICC with the intention of farming some rep, and taking a stab or three at Lord Marrowgar. After four resets for rep, we attempted Marrowgar… and one-shotted him.
We then moved on to Lady Deathwhisper, and downed her on our third attempt. The Gunship battle proved tricky as well, but we conquered it after four tries. It also proved to be a highly enjoyable encounter.
We’ll be back in there on Sunday to give Saurfang a run for his money. Congrats to all involved on ZeGuild’s first partial clear of Icecrown Citadel!
just a quick note to announce our third raid leader, Teshimine (also known as Shido). Tesh has been a very helpful person since day 1 and has actually led a lot of raids. His nomination was pretty obvious for us.
(I’m doing this like the WoW patch notes. It’s only showing the parts where we changed something, the rest remains valid.)
